OLIVIER TRUAN: LEARN ABOUT ME
Behind The Music
I studied music at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. After working as a Jazz pianist for many years my interest in composition grew and I started to write for orchestra, discovering my true talents and passions in the process. I love the sound and the endless combinations of colors of the orchestra.
While being self taught in arranging and composition, my experience grew with the years, and I found my own solutions to orchestration, balance and form, based on my extensive work with the many incredibly talented musicians I was blessed to have met.
If the performing musicians are happy and the music swings, I am happy.
